Bounty by the River
(August 16, 2016, Marietta, Ohio) –
Hunger Solutions and its members invite you to attend a fundraising dinner, Bounty by the River, in Marietta’s beautiful East Muskingum Park on Saturday, September 17 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are first come, first serve at $100 each. This will includes a gourmet meal created by Master Chef Emad Al-Masri of The Buckley House. There will be a bar accepting credit cards and live music by Vinnie and the Lubricators. All of the proceeds from this event will go directly to supporting local food pantries to eliminate hunger and teach children basic nutrition and cooking skills in Washington County.
Hunger Solutions was created by a task force formed to address local hunger more than four years ago. Its members – Peoples Bank, Memorial Health System, Marietta College, and Bricker & Eckler Attorneys at Law – have worked to create a community-based, collaborative plan to raise awareness and help eliminate hunger in the region. The partnership continues to attract resources and support as the organization strives to collaborate with agencies and organizations to lessen and end hunger in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
