Marietta Memorial Hospital’s Driver Rehabilitation Program to Offer New Classes
The Driver Rehabilitation Program at Marietta Memorial Hospital has expanded to now offering driver education classes for young drivers. This program is the only hospital based driving school in Ohio that is licensed to teach driver education and the only school that offers private classroom instruction for those who may struggle in a traditional classroom setting. The best practice of integrating classroom theory and real world experience is used by having one instructor teach both classroom and behind the wheel instruction. The classroom has state-of-the-art equipment and is the only disability driving school in Washington County.
Rick Headley, Certified Driver Rehabilitation Specialist is Board Certified and licensed by the Ohio Department of Public Safety to provide instruction for Class D new drivers and those with disabilities. He is also a certified instructor for the National Safety Council and has worked in the field since 2001.
The Driver Rehabilitation Program at Marietta Memorial Hospital offers many great driving services in addition to the Drivers Education Program such as:
- Mature Defensive Driving Class
- Alive at 25 Program
- Private Driving Lessons
