October 13, 2009 - MMH Blood Locations Announced for October
(Marietta, Ohio, Oct. 13, 2009) - Marietta Memorial Hospital’s Blood Bank will be setting up their Mobile Blood Unit at the following locations for October:
October 5 at First Presbyterian Church from 4 – 8 p.m.
October 6 at Beverly United Methodist Church from 3 – 7 p.m.
October 7 at Putnam Congregational Church from 4 – 8 p.m.
October 13 at WSCC from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
October 15 at Selby General Hospital from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
October 22 at Williamstown VFD from 5 – 8:30 p.m.
October 28 at First Baptist Church from 4 – 8 p.m.
Anyone between the ages of 17 and 66, with a body weight no less than 110 lbs, who is in good health may be eligible to donate. Donating blood takes about an hour and is an easy process. After donation, normal activities can be resumed, although physical exercise is not recommended for the remainder of the day.
