(Marietta, OH, October 10, 2008) – Harmar Place, an affiliate of Marietta Memorial Hospital, is holding a cookbook sale to raise money for the annual Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk. The cookbooks, which are $10 per copy, are full of recipes from local residents, families and staff and will be available beginning December 18. Pre-orders are currently being accepted.
All proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk, which is the nation’s largest event to raise money to battle Alzheimer’s. Since 1989, the association has raised over $200 million to help battle the disease. To date, Harmar Place has raised over $1,000 for Alzheimer’s.
