(Marietta, Ohio, November 19, 2009) – Marietta Memorial Hospital is celebrating its annual Love Lights program now through December 31. Love Lights contributors make charitable gifts to honor those they love with donations represented by glowing white lights on the Love Lights trees.
Media opportunity: The Love Lights season will kick-off this Friday, Nov. 20, 2009 from 6 – 9 p.m. at Marietta Memorial Hospital, where over 50 volunteers, including the Marietta College women’s volleyball team, will set-up and decorate the Love Lights trees throughout the hospital.
Love Lights supporters who donate $100 or more will receive a free original Fenton Art Glass ornament as part of the continuing Love Lights Collector Series.
Donations to Love Lights brighten lives throughout the year by providing hospice services to terminally ill patients and their families. The hospice team is characterized by compassion, versatility and clinical experience. Each year, they help hospice families face life’s end with comfort and dignity.
Remember the loves of your life! Gifts of all sizes are welcome. For more information, contact the Memorial Health Foundation at (740) 374-4913.
