February 17, 2010 - Belpre Students partner with SGH for Great American Spit Out

Belpre Elementary School students will be partnering with Selby General Hospital to promote the Great American Spit Out on Thursday, Feb. 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Belpre Elementary School. Students will participate in educational activities that will inform them about the dangers of smokeless tobacco.


Karen Waller and The Right Choice Club at Belpre Elementary School will once again be teaming up with Stephanie Davis from Selby General Hospitals’ Tobacco Prevention Program to celebrate “Threw with Chew Week” February 15-19, 2010.


Selby General Hospital’s Tobacco Prevention Program offers free stop-tobacco classes to the community. These programs are available through grant funding provided by the Ohio Department of Health.
