April 21, 2010 - MMH Volunteers’ Giant Used Book Sale
The annual Marietta Memorial Volunteers Used Book Sale, is scheduled for Thursday, April 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on MMH’s second floor classroom and walkway. The event is open to the public and will feature numerous paperback and hardback books as well as videotapes, musical cassettes and computer/video games for sale.
Donations of books, videotapes, musical cassettes, video/computer games and board games are currently being accepted and can be dropped off on Level G in the MMH parking garage from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Thursday, April 22. A volunteer will be stationed in the garage in order to help with the unloading of donated items.
Proceeds from the book sale benefit several community and hospital projects and programs throughout the year. For more information on the book sale, call Anna Vukovic at (740) 374-1779.
