July 29, 2010 - Marietta Area Teddy Bear Fundraiser to be Held August 4
The Marietta Area Teddy Bear Fund will be holding a fundraiser on Wednesday, August 4 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Cici’s Pizza, in Marietta.
Ten percent of the proceeds from the receipts will be donated to the Marietta Area Teddy Bear Fund. “The Marietta Area Teddy Bear Fund is a program that provides a stuffed animal to children admitted to either Marietta Memorial or Selby General Hospital throughout the year,” according to Anna Vukovic, teddy bear fund coordinator, “The bears provide a little something extra for those younger patients recovering from illness or injury.”
