November 8, 2010 - Love Light Trees to be Decorated November 19
The Love Light trees will be assembled and decorated on Friday, November 19 starting at 5 p.m. at Marietta Memorial Hospital. The Love Lights trees will be displayed at Marietta Memorial and Selby General Hospitals, Glenwood Retirement Community and the Wayne Street Medical Campus. Students from the Marietta College women’s volleyball team and the physician’s assistant program will volunteer their time to help with the tree set up.
“What would take days for our volunteers to do can now be accomplished in one evening, thanks to the help of Marietta College students,” says Mariesa McCloud, development assistant of the Memorial Health Foundation.
Love Lights contributors make charitable gifts to remember those they love with donations represented by glowing white lights on the Love Lights trees. If you are interested in donating to the Love Lights program or would like to volunteer to help decorate the trees, call Mariesa McCloud at (740) 374-4913.
