November 8, 2010 - Celebrate the Love Lights Season and Support Hospice
The Memorial Health System is lighting its holiday trees for the annual Love Lights celebration, now in its 20th year. The Love Lights trees will be displayed at Marietta Memorial and Selby General Hospitals, Glenwood Retirement Community and the Wayne Street Medical Campus.
“Donations make it possible for Hospice to give the best care, support and comfort for patients coping with life-limiting illnesses,” says Wendy Wharff, executive director of the Memorial Health Foundation. The hospice team is characterized by compassion, versatility and clinical experience, helping hospice families face life’s end with dignity.
Love Lights contributors make charitable gifts to remember those they love with donations represented by glowing white lights on the Love Lights trees. If you are interested in donating to the Love Lights program, call (740) 374-4913 or give online at www.mmhospital.org/give. Gifts of all size are welcome.
The Memorial Health System is a not-for-profit health system governed by a volunteer board of community members that are committed to providing comprehensive services that meet the needs of our region. We are comprised of a network of two hospitals, outpatient service sites, assisted and long-term care facilities and a retirement community. We work in innovative ways to meet the healthcare challenges of today, while preparing for the health needs of our communities in the future.
