(Marietta, OH, January 29, 2009) – Marietta Memorial Hospital’s Love Lights, which is celebrated annually every December, encourages contributors to make charitable gifts to honor those they love with donations providing hospice services to terminally ill patients and their families.
For the 2008 Love Lights season, contributions reached $26,000; to date, Love Lights donors have given more than $400,000 since MMH’s hospice services began. These contributions help terminally ill patients and their families with care from hospice physicians, nurses, aides, volunteers, social workers, therapists and chaplains.
