December 21, 2010 - Marietta Memorial Hospital Employee Receives Prestigious Certification
Heather Johnson, RN at Marietta Memorial Hospital, recently passed the certification exam for critical care nurses. This certification is given to nurses who successfully pass the critical care registered nurse exam, (CCRN).
“By receiving this certification, Heather becomes the ninth CCRN to successfully join the ranks of her fellow co-workers in the intensive care unit,” says Claire Mendenhall, educational specialist, Marietta Memorial Hospital.
Through certification, nurses demonstrate their mastery of skills, knowledge and abilities as they progress along the continuum of life-long learning. Achieving and maintaining these types of certifications helps assure that a nurse has met rigorous requirements in a specialized area of practice.
For more information on this certification contact Claire Mendenhall at (740) 374-1752.
