June 6, 2011 - Hospital Volunteersí Giant Used Book Sale
Get ready to be a book worm as Marietta Memorial Hospital Volunteers prepare for their Annual Used Book Sale on June 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Strecker Cancer Center Conference Room.
They are accepting donations of paperback and hardback books, puzzles, videotapes, musical cassettes; computer, video and box games. Donations may be dropped off on Level G in the hospitalís parking garage, where a volunteer is stationed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday thru Friday, to assist in unloading the boxes of books. Donated items will also be accepted throughout sale day.
Proceeds of the sale are used for community/hospital projects and programs throughout the year. For more information, contact Anna Vukovic at (740) 374-1779.
