April 3, 2008 - MMH Rehab Department Offering “Alive at 25” Program


(Marietta, OH, April 3, 2008) - The Driver Rehabilitation Program at Marietta Memorial Hospital is pleased to offer “Alive at 25,” a four-hour interactive defensive driving program designed by the National Safety Council to help drivers, age 16 to 24, identify the risk factors and learn safe driving techniques that can help keep them from becoming a statistic. The program is set for May 3, 2008, from 8 am – noon in the First Floor Conference Room at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Cost is $30.00 per person and $10.00 for MMH staff members and their families.

Course participants will be led on a journey to discovering safe driving techniques through multimedia presentations and the use of interactive simulator equipment.

FACTS:
14% of all drivers are between the ages of 16 and 24, yet…

Those finishing the course will be given a certificate of completion, which can be presented to their personal care insurer for possible rate discount.
