(Marietta, OH, January 6, 2009) – Marietta Memorial Hospital volunteers are holding their annual Teddy Bear & Doll Show and Sale on January 18 at the Lafayette Hotel. The show will be open from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. to display and sell new and used stuffed bears, dolls and accessories.
The show, which attracts over 300 teddy bear and doll lovers, collectors and artists from several states, also provides door prizes, raffles, book signings and appraisals. A raffle will be held during show hours that will include dozens of items donated by the exhibitors and artists and qualified experts will be available to offer written and verbal appraisals for teddy bears and dolls.
Admission is $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for children with all proceeds from ticket and table sales benefiting the Guardian Fund, a program that benefits Home Nursing & Hospice serving terminally ill family members, friends and neighbors and their families.
