The 7th Annual “A Walk To Remember” will take place at the Marietta Middle School Track, starting at 11:00 a.m. on October 20, 2007.
October is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. During this month parents, health care professionals and friends from across the U.S. will be participating in “A Walk To Remember”.
This walk symbolizes the need to raise awareness on perinatal grief to ensure that sensitive care is given to parents who have experienced the death of a baby. “A Walk To Remember” is dedicated to all babies who die each year through pregnancy loss, stillbirth or newborn death.
The public is invited to participate in the walk. There is no fee. For more information or to learn more about this event, please call Naomi King at 740-376-5519.
The Pregnancy/Early Newborn Loss support group is available to those who have experienced a miscarriage, stillbirth or early newborn loss. The group meets the third Wednesday of every month. For more information, call 740-376-5519.
