Marietta Memorial Hospital Volunteers are having their annual Used Book Sale on August 23, 2007, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the hospital’s second floor walkway. They are selling paperback and hardback books, videotapes; musical cassettes; computer, video and box games and puzzles.
Donations of any of these items may be dropped off on Level G in the hospital's parking garage. A volunteer will be there from 8 am to 4 pm to assist with donations. Donated items will be accepted throughout sale day.
Proceeds of the sale will be donated to the hospital's staff development department to purchase software for computer stations that will be placed at various locations throughout the hospital, dedicated to communication and educational information for staff usage.
