Marietta Memorial Hospital and the Marietta YMCA have joined together to sponsor a free seminar titled “Getting an Edge; Steroids & Supplements – The Facts”.
The seminar is free and open to the public and will be held on Tuesday, July 10 at 7:00 pm at the Marietta YMCA. All attendees will receive a one-month free membership to the Marietta YMCA.
“The seminar is for parents, students and community members,” said Charlie Hasse, Director of Behavioral Health Services at Marietta Memorial Hospital. “We will be providing information on signs of anabolic steroid abuse, ergogenic effects of supplements, side effects and possible risk factors of both, and basic nutritional and conditioning information.”
The presenters of the seminar will include Hasse, Ryan Eschbaugh, Brad Pierce and Tabitha VanDyke. It is funded in part by WCMHARB.
