Marietta Memorial Hospital is inviting women of all ages to Go Red for Women and learn more about keeping their heart healthy at a Healthy Heart Luncheon February 28, 2007, from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm at the Lafayette Hotel.
Go Red For Women is the American Heart Associationís nationwide movement that celebrates the energy, passion and power of women to band together and wipe out heart disease. One in 2.6 female deaths are from cardiovascular disease, compared with one in thirty from breast cancer.
The luncheon will feature speakers who will give women tips and information on healthy eating, exercise and risk factor reduction, such as smoking cessation, weight maintenance, blood pressure control, and blood cholesterol management. Gifts and door prizes will be provided by Guidant, Curves for Women, Marietta YMCA, Zides and Pampered Chef.
Seating is limited and reservations are required. Please call 740-374-1634 to reserve your seat or for more information.
