Bookmark and Share

Pulmonary disease occurs when airflow through the lungs is reduced, the volume of air the lungs can hold is reduced or when lung tissue that moves oxygen to the blood is damaged. Most lung diseases involve a combination of these above factors.

What is Pulmonary Rehabilitation?

The program involves:

  • Self-care/home management
  • Education
  • Psychosocial assessment
  • Nutritional assessment
  • Maintenance exercise program

Your physician will be informed of your progress throughout the program. For more information, contact us at (740) 376-5577.
