Marietta Memorial Hospital’s Diabetes Education Center Partners with Belpre Senior Center
The Belpre Senior Center and Marietta Memorial Hospital’s Diabetes Education Center are partnering together to offer unique diabetes services to seniors. “The primary goal is to provide the knowledge and skill necessary for individuals with diabetes to achieve and maintain optimal health,” says Kathy Reis, RN and program coordinator for the Diabetes Education Center.
The Diabetes Education Center will offer monthly educational programs to local citizens, regardless of age. These sessions are free, open to the public and are planned for the fourth Monday of every month from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Belpre Senior Center, 1614 Washington Boulevard, Belpre. The next session is scheduled for Monday, June 28 and pre-registration is required.
