MMH Cardiac Catheterization Imaging Team Receives Prestigious Certification
Sandra Brightwell, Kim Dailey, Danielle Erb, Dave Johnson and Nikki Logston, radiographers at Marietta Memorial Hospital’s Cardiac Catheterization Lab, recently passed the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography. ARRT is the world’s largest credentialing organization that seeks to ensure high quality patient care in radiologic technology.
According to the ARRT, as of February 2011 there are 23 registered technologists in Ohio, 5 registered technologists in West Virginia and only 374 technologists nationwide that are certified in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography.
