Durable Medical Equipment Collection Drive to be Held March 26
Marietta Memorial Hospital’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Department will be holding a Durable Medical Equipment Collection Day on Saturday, March 26 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. in MMH’s Strecker Cancer Center Conference Room. The donated items will assist patients in the inpatient rehabilitation department, who have limited or no medical insurance, obtain medical equipment that is pertinent to return home.
The following gently used and cleaned durable medical equipment will be accepted:
• Walkers (with or without wheels)
• Bedside commodes
• Tub/shower benches or chairs
• Sock aids
• Long handled shoehorns
Drop-off site will be located at the Strecker Cancer Center’s main entrance (signs will be posted). For more information on this event or how to make a donation, contact Casey Maston, inpatient rehabilitation department, at (740) 374-1463.
