Become A Volunteer

Most volunteers say that the personal fulfillment which comes from helping another person is their greatest reward. Other volunteers look forward to the new friendships and camaraderie they share with fellow volunteers and staff members. Many enjoy learning new skills and contributing to the community. Regardless of whether you are volunteering to gain new skills, meet new people or lend a helping hand, the volunteer program at Memorial Health System may have a volunteer position to meet your needs.

The application process for our Student Volunteer Program is outlined on the Application Process page. This process helps us comply with regulations and ensures your volunteer experience is rewarding and meaningful, while ensuring the health and safety of our patients, visitors and staff. To volunteer at Memorial Health System, you must be at least 16 years of age and in high school.

In appreciation of the support and time our volunteers contribute, Memorial Health System offers benefits to volunteers which include, but are not limited to:
