Memorial Health System Hosts Annual Volunteer Recognition Banquet
The volunteer of the year will be announced during the banquet.
???Our volunteers are special people who make the difference for patients and families,??? said Cindy Hall, volunteer services coordinator for Memorial Health System, ???The Volunteers make the world a brighter place. They help in countless ways by greeting and escorting patients and their family members, delivering flowers, parking assistance and behind the scenes in offices, medical records and other areas of the system. We are pleased to have this opportunity to recognize the volunteers for their commitment and dedication to our system.???
During the past year, 188 volunteers have donated 22,079 hours of service. Besides their time, volunteers have raised and donated to several different programs including the Strecker Cancer Center, baby burp cloths and puddle pads for the hospital???s nursery and stuffed animals for both area hospitals.
For information on becoming a hospital volunteer, please contact Cindy Hall, volunteer services coordinator, at (740) 374-1778.
