Our team of specialists provide treatment of endocrine disorders including osteoporosis, hormone imbalances, thyroid disorders, and diabetes.

For those individuals living with diabetes, you will have access to our Diabetes Education Center team, who will provide resources, education, management, and understanding of Pre-Diabetes, Type 1, and Type 2 diabetes.

Diabetes Services

Our Diabetes Education Center team believes that education is an essential component in the care for those living with diabetes.

Our program partners with your provider to give you the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve and maintain optimal health. Our goals are to reduce the risk of both short and long-term complications that may develop from diabetes.

Support Groups

We offer two community support groups as well as one on one educational sessions. Our support groups include:

  • Adult Diabetes Support Group
  • Youth Diabetes Support Group

Our guest speakers will lead these groups on a variety of topics including diabetes management tips, nutrition, exercise, travel, and more. Members are encouraged to share their experiences to help establish themselves as part of this community.

Diabetes Education Center

Our Diabetes Education Center team believes that education is an essential component in the care for those living with diabetes. Our diabetes education team, accredited by the American Diabetes Association, is a comprehensive group of specialists that work with you, your family/caregiver, and your primary care provider. Our team of experts include Registered Nurses and Registered Dietitian.

We offer education and training on insulin pumps/insulin delivery devices and continuous glucose monitors (CGM):

  • Dexcom
  • FreeStyle Libre
  • Omnipod
  • Tandem
  • V-Go

We are located in the 803 building on the Belpre Medical Campus, next to our Department of Endocrinology office.
