Endocrinology providers specialize in caring for health conditions that affect the hormones and the endocrine glands, which produce hormones. Our team of specialists care for people who have all types of endocrine disorders including osteoporosis, hormone imbalances, thyroid disorders, and diabetes, and more.

Individuals living with diabetes have access to our Diabetes Education Center team, who will provide resources, education, management, and understanding of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. We are here to provide support for our patients in all aspects of managing diabetes.

Our Diabetes Education Center

Our Diabetes Education Center team believes that education is an essential component in the care for those living with diabetes. We partner with each patient’s provider to make sure patients have the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve and maintain optimal health. Our goals are to reduce the risk of both short and long-term complications that may develop from diabetes.

Our Diabetes Education Team, accredited by the American Diabetes Association, is a comprehensive group of specialists that work with patients, their family/caregiver, and primary care provider. Our team of experts includes:

Registered Dietitian (RD)

Our main location is at our Belpre Medical Campus, next to our Department of Endocrinology office.

Support Groups

We offer three community support groups:

Diabetes Education (Type 2) Support Group
Pre-Diabetes Support Group
Youth Diabetes Support Group

Our guest speakers will lead these groups on a variety of topics including diabetes management tips, nutrition, exercise, travel, and more. Members are encouraged to share their experiences to help establish themselves as part of this community.
