Women & Newborn Team Breaks Record with 108 Successful Births and 190 OB ED Visits
Our Women and Newborn team has delivered a milestone moment. The team proudly closed out the month of July with 108 successful births, marking the highest number of monthly deliveries in the health system’s history. They also managed 190 OB Emergency Department visits, highlighting the critical and comprehensive care provided around the clock.
“We are proud to announce that we closed out the month of July with an outstanding 108 successful deliveries—a new record for our team!” says Clinical Nurse Manager of Women and Newborn, Kaci Golay. “This achievement reflects not only our continued growth but also the exceptional collaboration and dedication of everyone involved.”
To celebrate the record-setting month, Nursing Administration and other leaders from across the health system gathered to thank the team for their commitment and the exceptional care delivered by the department.

This record-breaking month is just the beginning. With Memorial Health System’s upcoming Women and Children’s Hospital on the horizon, this dedicated team will play a critical role in shaping its success.
