Memorial Health Foundation Raises Record-Breaking $600,000 on Giving Tuesday
Memorial Health Foundation (MHF) is celebrating a record-breaking Giving Tuesday, raising over $600,000 to support more than 30 patient-centered caring initiatives during its 5th annual campaign.
Jarrett Stull, MEd, CFRE, Executive Director of Memorial Health Foundation, shares, “This year, we set an ambitious goal to raise $500,000 on Giving Tuesday. Our own team members and community didn’t just rise to the challenge—they surpassed it in extraordinary fashion.”
Donors exceeded the goal by more than $100,000—an achievement made possible through the community’s unwavering support and shared commitment to expanding access to high-quality, local care.
“This remarkable generosity reflects something fundamental about our region: we deeply value having an independent, community-led hospital, and we stand behind it,” Stull continues. “On Giving Tuesday, our community showed just how much they believe in protecting and strengthening local care.”
Every dollar contributed this Giving Tuesday directly supports patients and families by advancing lifesaving programs, expanding access to services such as transportation and screenings, and helping build the new Women and Children’s Hospital in Belpre, Ohio, as well as Sistersville General Hospital in Sistersville, West Virginia. Support for the two upcoming hospitals fuels two major fundraising campaigns—Together, supporting the Women and Children’s Hospital, and Promise, supporting Sistersville General Hospital and surrounding ambulatory clinics.
Each gift, no matter the size, makes an impact—and this year’s success was amplified by local businesses and organizations issuing matching gift challenges throughout the day. These challenges kept the momentum strong and inspired widespread participation.
