Memorial Health System Now Accepting West Virginia PEIA PPB Insurance Plans
Memorial Health System (MHS) is excited to announce that all facilities, campuses, and providers within the health system are now in-network with West Virginia (WV) Public Employees Insurance Agency (PEIA) Preferred Provider Benefit (PPB) Plans A, B, and C that are administered by UMR. This means that WV PEIA members, who are covered under one of those WV PEIA PPB plans, are able to receive in-network services from all locations, providers, and specialties at Memorial Health System.
Memorial Health System and PEIA have reached an agreement that allows WV PEIA patients to have access to in-network care, meaning more affordable costs and easily accessible care, from providers they choose from the health system.
This change became effective on February 1, 2024. During the open enrollment period, WV PEIA members can choose any of the plans available to them that allow contiguous county care and receive in-network services when receiving care from Memorial Health System. For more information on PEIA plans, people are encouraged to visit peia.wv.gov.
