Charles Penvose, DPM, FACFAS is a reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon with expertise in the management of complex foot and ankle deformities. He treats acute and chronic issues affecting the foot and ankle, from fractures to sprains, tears, and deformity. He is also well trained in the care for diabetic foot and complications associated with diabetes.
Dr. Penvose’s Education
Dr. Penvose completed his surgical residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as Chief Resident. Following residency, Dr. Penvose completed an ACFAS-recognized Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery Fellowship in Columbus, Ohio. This fellowship specialized in minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopic surgery, complex limb salvage techniques, and total ankle replacements.
