I just wanted to put feedback in that I was running late for my appointment due to an appointment across the road at the Orthopedic Center. And Lonnie and Shelby worked together, and they stayed and waited on me. My appointment was at 4:30. It was 10 til 5 before I got there. They waited and, you know, she made sure to answer all my questions, didn’t try to rush me out. Lonnie was very good about that and ordered me some more tests, but provided that I could do them at home, closer to my home, verses doing it down there, which is an hour and a half away. So, I’d like to commend them and their staff for waiting on me and being very patient and, you know, despite the fact that I have another appointment lined up far away. Thank you.

Well first thing they couldn’t verify my insurance. Then they came out and asked if I had a copay which is clearly indicated on the card. I paid that. No issues with nurse. The nurse practitioner I thought was rude. At one point she starts to quiver like she’s mad and tells me she has spent an hour with me and that she has other patients. Well she didn’t spend an hour with me because my payment slip is times at 208 and I don’t get the payment t slip back immediately l then I was weighed and answers nurse questions. I thought I was going there for medical issues. She thought i was there for diet. I felt like all she saw was a fat woman. She never asked me my health issues. My lifestyles. My medical. I told her I was in adipex. She hands me a paper on food not to eat and starts in abut a injection and I’m eating too much. I told her I’m confused. I thought I was here to see if any underlying health reasons. Not to be told I shouldn’t have a hamburger because it has two buns. She wasn’t the least but interested in me or my health. She claimed she reviewed my health history before she came in room. What was she reviewing? The only provider I use with MM is dr white. I said I thought you would feel my thyroid. Order blood work. She was confused because dr white referral said I was not happy with weight loss. I said he told me that I was being seen by you to see if some kind of underlying health issue. She said I could do cortisol levels but it’s pointless because your taking in too many calories. She prescribed sandexa. Which is too expensive. She called me back after my appt and said she didn’t realize dr white has prescribed me adipex and she couldn’t prescribe too. Well I thought she had reviewed my history before I came in?? I told her dr white had prescribed me adipex and I had only taken it one month and I was on the second. Month. So she said at appt that she would test cortisol levels. I said I need a order to take to lab Corp. she told me that would take four days to do and then they would mail it to me. Four days ??? Any other physician prints them out and hands them to unit faxes. She then said well public debt is a big company the injection is probably covered. So last night she says she will Take care of ordering the lab work. I would like to see a different practitioner. I thought I was going to be asked about my Heath. All she did was tell me to count calories and slap her hand and say two crackers is a serving. Would u like to be treated like that ? Isn’t it normal for a physician to find out your health issues? At least get some labs ? This was one of the craziest appts I ever had. No one should feel like they are just a fat blob that she didn’t want to mess with.

My doctor was Valone, and my nurse was Shelby, and they were both super good, and very thorough, and they were the first people to actually sit, and explain to me my thyroid numbers in detail, and she set a goal for me, and they did a very good job, and listened to what I had to say, as well as wanting to figure out what is wrong. They were really good.

The PA explained to me what the levels of my test results meant and how in the future how it would effect possibly taking medication. No-one has ever taken the time to do that in the past. She also set up a referral to see an ophthalmologist to check the effect of my thyroid on my eyesight which has never been done before. She was awesome!

Loni is very knowledgeable and caring. She listens to any and all concerns and addresses them accordingly. She helps set and achieve patient goals. When I needed medication she went through all of the options with me and helped me decide which would be best for me.

Did not totally comprehend my medication history and proceeded to cautiously prescribe medication instead of taking a big swing at the problem.

Loni Collins deserves more than a 10!!! I have had a recent health issue that was reviewed by several doctors and medical professionals at two hospitals over the past three months. Loni had it diagnosed in about 5 minutes. She absolutely understood and properly diagnosed what the problem was! MMH is very fortunate to have her and I am so happy she is working on my current health issues.

The only thing is… I didn’t know that I wasn’t meeting with a physician. Although I feel that Loni is perfectly capable, I do hope that at some point I can get my chart reviewed. She seemed to someone discount some pertinent information that maybe offer a link to solutions.

Dr Mezitis is the best doctor I’ve ever seen. He is intelligent and knows what he’s doing. He explains it and takes time to even draw diagrams when needed. However, this last visit, he was not in and I followed up with NP who did not know me and I felt like that trip was a waste of time (and money) as she couldn’t really change anything due to my doctor being out and we already had a plan that seemed to be working (but may need a tweek). A phone call ahead of time to let me know and have the option to reschedule would have been nice.

The doctor showed interest in getting my thyroid leveled out. And seemed like she will work hard to be. Interested in getting it better than it has been in a long time. I’m really excited that I have found her. Thank you.

All of the people in the clinic were wonderful. I had one issue, though. The entire time the provider was in the room with me, she wore her mask under her nose. I expect more from a medical professional during a pandemic.

I was given a written procedure with the number of clicks to follow with my last visit with Dr. Bains, but it wasn’t recorded in records. so I was surprised to follow the previous instructions which remained the same. I will follow the plan I was given this time, though.

I wish the providers would listen and take in consideration what previous providers treated us for. I keep telling all the providers what I was diagnosed with I was younger and when the Dr. died and the new doctor took over that the new doctor did not keep up the same treatment and dis guarded how I was being treated. NO ONE LISTENS and I feel worse than ever. They need to LISTEN and if they have doubts run test.
