I am just so appalled and fed up with Marietta Memorial Health System. I am being tested and sent for more tests and more tests and sent to Belpre which I like to go to Marietta Memorial I don’t like to go to the hospital that Marietta Memorial built and then staff it with people from Marietta Memorial to pay for it. I don’t feel that I need an overnight sleep study that we could have started with at home sleep study. I’ve had this condition for over four months and all I’m doing is taking test and it takes between 2 weeks and a month and a half to get scheduled for tests and then I don’t get the results. My pulmonary function test took over a month to schedule not my fault Marietta Memorial should be professional and very good at what they do, evidently not now I feel like I’m just taking test and test and it’s hit-and-miss. I’ve been seen by a nurse practitioner, a physician’s assistant but the doctor to review my pulmonary function test was off so that delayed finding out the results which got me irritable with my personal doctor secretary. I am seeing my personal doctor today to make the decision whether to leave Marietta Memorial health system and give you as much information about my case to as many people as I can. I’ve contacted my insurance company and there is an alternative to a better staffed Hospital thank you

I was 15 minutes late for my appointment. I had to call four places to get the correct number of where I was going. I had to leave a message that we were behind very slow moving traffic so I would be late. No one was available to answer the phone. I live more than an hour away and very winding roads with no good places to pass before I finally get to the interstate. When I got to the office I was very rudely told that I was 15 minutes late and that I had to reschedule my appointment. That after 10 minutes late you must reschedule. I explained that I did call and left a message and that I lived over an hour away and that I just couldn’t help being late. So then they changed their tune and said they would take me. I think it is a very unfriendly rule and should be rethought by you.

I spoke with someone who kept using acronyms for a nap study. She seemed exasperated when i asked her to translate into plain English. Also, my sleep is poor and the cpap machine isnt helping. It seems that there is no further options are being provided except for daytime sleep nap testing to test for hypersomnia. But my sleep is bad. Isnt that the problem? Wouldn’t the next logicaI step be an overnight sleep study in the facility since I only received a take-home study. I guess I am on my own, left to figure out why my sleep is bad on my own, or else seek out another provider.

Hi, yes, Dana, she did a real good job and I guess my CPAP machine was possibly on the recall list, from Phillips. I have the Dream Station Model and she had told me how to check it and put my serial number in and stuff. And luckily, mine’s not on the recall and she did a great job explaining how to do that.

In, on the first question and I answered I hit the wrong button. But the biggest complaint I had the office was great. The provider was great. The office staff is great. All that was great, but I thought I took I mean it takes entirely too long to get through this process with the sleep medicine. I mean, especially for the the severity of you know, the issue I thought so but I mean I’ve been waiting now I started a process a long time ago and I still haven’t gotten a CPAP machine replacement and it’s been I mean it’s a long time to go without sleep. So my biggest complaint is is they need to either add more offices or more providers or something but appointment times take entirely too long to obtained.
