I went to the VA the next day for labs and the VA questioned when the procedure would be because some of the labs have to be down with in 30 days of the procedure. I called the office 10:00 and had to leave a message with the nurse. That was Friday 5/14/21 it is Saturday 5/14/21 still no call back. I left on the message I need an answer right away to give to the VA. Not happy someone did not call since it was so early.

When I preregistered I was given directions to the Belpre campus for the appointment. When I arrived in Belpre I was told that the appointment was in Marietta. Also that on the previous day the same thing had happened to another patient. It appears that there is a miscommunication between the offices and maybe the software doing the preregistration. Not a happy camper after driving thru Marietta to go to Belpre then driving back to Marietta for the appointment. I will say that the staff did a great job of correcting the problem after the fact.

The appointment was on time, and the nurse that came in initially to get medication information and all of that was very helpful and kind to my sister, who is the patient. And she has special needs. Then the provider Ashley is a doll. She’s wonderful. She’s very thorough. She wants to get to the root of the problem. And I definitely would recommend her for any kind of follow up with gastro, but the experience was great. And I definitely would recommend that anyone would go to Marietta more so, then then the one in Parkersburg, because I was able to get an appointment for her much sooner. Thank you.
