Dr. Al is a excellent doctor I’ve known him for quite a few years and he let’s me know everything I need to know. And I said nothing there’s nothing bad I could say about him.

I liked it because you could get in, sign your name, get registered, next thing you know, you’re back for your appointment and then everything is checked out and talk to the doctor and you’re on your way. Thank you.

They’re very courteous and respectful and they pay attention to everything that you say, and I respect that. Thank you.

He doesn’t seem to really listen to me and hear my history of my pain. Nor any of the meds I’ve taken in the past. He only wants to give me the one one. It’s no better than a aspirin.

Sir: There are no signs indicating physicans names or office numbers. Many information desks, unoccupied. Never saw so many information desks, but with no one manning them. I could have used help. Needed wheel chair. No one to help me. They added a new building and I got lost, looking for my doctor. The building had been added on with no signs indicating that. Finially someone helped me. It was too far to walk so I drove. Then in final building and no one to tell me direction to go.When I finally reached my destination, his office had been moved across the hall. Again no signs. Many of your patients are elderly, as am I, and this visit took 15 minutes before I even reached the doctor. I was exhausted. Beautiful facility, but needs more signs {directional and informational) and more employees to assist patients. Thank you, Nancy Dugan

The Hospital need to quit changing things around. They made this visit a “Pain in the ass”, by not telling anyone that they had changed their entrance and the way to get in. Shame on them. We are elderly.

I was going to there about my knees and he was just adamant that I was there about my neck, and we went round and round two or three times about the fact that no, I was not there about my neck. So I was not very impressed with this doctor and the fact that he didn’t even realize why I was there and It wasn’t a very good experience.

Your appointments are terrible, the waiting period, and I have not heard back the results of my x-ray I had which they were supposed to. So this survey is unfair because I have not heard back from them. Thank you.

Since this was my first time with this provider, his accent was somewhat hard to understand but he was patient with me and would repeat himself when needed. After a few visits I should be able to understand him clearly. That was the only problem I encountered and will definitely go back to him.

Receptionist at 807 Farson St.B, 201A was wearing mask down below her nose upon both checking in and checking out of my appointment. It was not a good first impression of the Marietta Memorial Health system. Thanks

This is my first appointment in Dr. Roa’s first new office. I’ve always before gone to his Vienna office. So everyone was very kind and everything there, but I didn’t like how far I had to walk up stairs and down the hallway and everything to get to the office. Anyway, other than that everything was just fine. Thank you. Bye.

Dr. Roa was fantastic, the young nurse wasn’t bad. Lady at the reception desk little bit annoying. It cost a lot of money to get there. Got to take a medical ambulance. It’s expensive to get there. I have a valid reason as a cancer survivor for pain medication, especially with all my surgeries and my disabilities. 12 pain pills don’t cut it. It’s like eating a bottle of aspirin, which thins my blood too much all month long. And then having 12 days of somewhat less pain. That was painful. Prescription should be like 24 to 60 pain pills, not 12. God bless have a wonderful day.

Have seen the provider long term, before he associated with MMHS. My medication needs to be increased or changed without increasing quantity. I’ve had 14 spinal surgeries and do pretty well most of the time, but when I have breakthrough pain, it is horrible. I also have a genetic problem called a “slow metabolizer” (test ordered by Dr. Gold and interpreted by the Mayo Clinic). Because of this defect, I have little to no ability to break down medication like normal people. Please obtain this record from WVU Medicine and have the staff of the Pain Management Dept. read and learn about pharmacogenomics. According to the NIH, only about 10% of doctors nationally know about this. Very eye opening and not new.
