At the very least, I feel the the receptionists could give me my list to review prior to seeing the nurse and doctor. My appointment was on a Friday and I was supposed to increase a medication dose on Saturday. When I went to increase on Saturday, I realized that the medication they increased was actually changed to a different medication all together. No one mentioned that part at my appointment. Im glad I was able to call the nurse line and they spoke with the doctor on call to get me an answer until I can call the office on Monday. It’s just disheartening as a patient to have to go through that added stress. I think Dr. Smith is very nice and the nurses I dealt with at my most recent visit were as well. Just as most of the other doctors and nurses have been. I just feel like maybe not seeing the same provider and nurse every visit may be causing some gaps in patient care. There is definitely room for improvement.

This appointment was scheduled June 18th. Days before I got multiple calls from the department. Then I received a text asking if I could change my appointment from 1 pm to 10:45 am. Once I arrived to the office for my appointment at 1 the receptionist said “we called to see if we can switch the appointment time. I’ll see if the doctor could still see you” thankfully she could but I felt like my appointment was made over a month before & it was unprofessional to try to squeeze me in another time last minute then act like I was an unimportant patient when I arrived at my original scheduled time.

There seems to be some difficulty with information from department to department being shared, the ER typed in information I gave them but then when I got the my doctors appointment it hadn’t been updated. Example they still had my parents number instead of mine for contact and that I was now married. I’m considering going elsewhere for yearly exams because a 90 min wait for a 5 min appointment is unreasonable and it happens nearly every time I go. They have got to learn to manage their time better. I waited for an hour in the waiting room and 30 min in the room. If you are running that far behind call people and ask them to come in an hour later, I had to use an extra hour of leave and miss my lunch break to accommodate their poor scheduling.
