When I scheduled this appointment last year, it was for 8:30. I always want first appointment. Last week I checked my memorial chart and it was 8:30 and I had to be at work in Belpre at 10 so I knew I would be fine. Monday I got my email reminder from phreesia saying my appointment was at 8:45. Then I got an email notification from my memorial chart saying I had a new appointment. I signed in and saw my appointment had been changed to 9am. I called in Tuesday to check my time and it indeed was changed to 9am. Why was I not contacted?? Why was this change not communicated to me? Why did no one ask me if I was OK with the change?? Just luckily my work schedule changed as of Monday and I ended up with Wednesday off or else this change would have caused problems seeing at had to be in Belpre by 10. I understand that appointments need changed for whatever reason but please remember to call the patient to make sure they are OK with the change you made or if something else needed to be done.
