They say they’re going to correct it. I’m waiting to see but I called this morning and asked about the refill. They were supposed to have done Saturday and at 4 something they finally called minutes before they closed and of course, I can’t talk to them. So I don’t see where they’ve improved. I did not appreciated that the office move me and my appointment without first contacting me and switch which I specifically asked not to see the nurse practitioner and then a few weeks after I made the appointment. I looked on my chart and they had switched it without telling me they changed the time twice on me and still never contacted me and then when I got to my appointment because I asked me calling on a cancellation list when I called in concerning this I was seeing quite quickly, but it took the doctor and hour past my time that I was supposed to be seen.

I wasn’t feeling well from medicine side effects when I was in the office. The meds are Sucralfate 1GM tab and Xifaxan 550mg tab. I wrote down major side effects I was having and gave the paper to the doctor. He looked at it and gave it back to me with no exam. Confused how to deal with the side effects I’m still having. All I was told was to discontinue a med Meloxicam by another doctor and take Tylenol for pain. I had already stopped Meloxicam days before appointment but couldn’t get through to prescriber office to explain. After the doctor left I had a bad pain level 9 stomach pains and was hunched over in my chair when the nurse came in to discharge me. Didn’t get the doctor or anything. I was so embarrassed that pain spell happened in front of the nurse. I was out of it and the doctor didn’t even notice and I couldn’t get my thoughts together to let him know when he was in the room. I feel bad about it. Overall I am very thankful for the care I get from Gastroenterology. They do a great job and all staff are appreciated very much.
