Since sleep affects all functions of the body, Memorial Health System’s Sleep Lab is dedicated to getting patients more restful sleep. More normal sleep patterns are an essential part of improving patients’ health, happiness and overall wellness. It’s our goal at the sleep lab to help patients achieve this high level of wellness to prevent sickness and injury.
Our specialists work one-on-one with patients to analyze the lifestyle factors that may affect sleep. For some patients, medical diseases and conditions can cause troubled sleeping. The advanced diagnostic technology at the sleep lab can diagnose any conditions that may play a role in sleep patterns. These are some of the conditions commonly diagnosed at the sleep lab:
- Sleep apnea
Memorial Health System’s Sleep Lab can accommodate overnight sleep studies in a comfortable, relaxing setting. While patients comfortably rest, sleep specialists monitor a variety of factors including heart activity, breathing, body movements and sleep patterns to diagnose what may be interrupting normal sleep cycles.
Once a diagnosis is made, our board certified specialists work with patients to develop a personalized treatment plan.
