Evergreen Child Development Center

The Evergreen Child Development Center accepts children starting at 6 weeks through Kindergarten. The center has four classrooms: Infants, Toddlers, Early Preschool and Preschool. Breakfast, lunch and snack are provided daily. Part-time and full-time rates are available. The mission of the Evergreen Child Development Center is to provide the highest quality of care to the children of Memorial Health System employees and to those of the community through an early childhood program that is developmentally appropriate.

Monday – Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.

The philosophy of the Evergreen Child Development Center is based on principles of child growth and development. Staff is dedicated to enhancing each child’s individuality, celebrating each child’s uniqueness and helping each child begin his or her lifetime of learning. The center provides an environment where discipline occurs naturally through problem solving, limit setting and redirection. The center also offers opportunities and experiences to children which nurtures growth and learning and supports ideas through communication. The experiences provided to the children are designed to nurture their cognitive, physical, social, emotional and language development.


Quality & Accreditation

The Evergreen Child Development Center is accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Approximately 7,185 child development centers are accredited nationwide. The center is also a 5-star center through Step Up to Quality (SUTQ). SUTQ is Ohio’s quality rating and improvement system. SUTQ recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality program standards that exceed licensing health and safety regulations.
