Behavioral Health

Memorial Health System offers comprehensive behavioral health services for people of all ages at three convenient locations. We provide compassionate care and treatment for mental health conditions for you and your whole family. Our behavioral health specialists coordinate with primary care providers and any other health professionals who are involved in your care and journey to improved health. Our team consists of psychologists and psychiatrists. Psychologists provide therapy and counseling services and psychiatrists provide medication management.

Services at our three locations include:

Marietta: Psychology and psychiatry services for adults only
Belpre: Psychology services for adults and psychiatry services for children and teens
- We don’t offer medication management for adults at this office
Athens: Psychology and psychiatry services for adults only

Please note: referrals are required before being seen by our behavioral health providers.

Cognitive behavioral therapy, or CBT (a common type of talk therapy)

GeneSight® testing (genetic testing that can give your provider more information about your risk factors for certain mental health conditions)

Our psychiatry providers offers psychiatric evaluations and medication management for many behavioral health conditions.

Therapy provider: Jean Scott, PhD

Our therapy providers offer a variety of treatment options to help patients better manage a number of issues in addition to neuropsychological testing for confirmation of diagnoses such as ADHD and ASD, as well as competency and developmental testing.
