Memorial Health System Employee to Serve on Marietta Main Street Board of Directors

Memorial Health System is proud to support our community, and so are our employees. Beginning in January 2021, Morgan West, a business decision analyst at Memorial Health System, will begin serving on the board of directors for Marietta Main Street. West stated: “Marietta Main Street does a lot to revitalize downtown Marietta. I just really wanted to be a part of that and be able to play a role in making Marietta better and more attractive.”
West attributes her desire and ability to work for our community in part to the work environment at Memorial Health System – “I’m very grateful to Memorial Health System for helping me develop professionally and become the person that I am,” West said. “I don’t think I would have as much of the professional drive that I do today if it weren’t for the job that I have. They do a great job of really encouraging leadership and professional growth.”
West also said she is passionate about helping her community and is volunteering for Marietta Main Street to pursue that passion – “I could connect this volunteer experience to several of the different positions I’ve held at Memorial Health System,” West said. “I’m not involved in direct patient care, but I really enjoy the feeling of providing service to people. That’s what led me to apply for the board of directors and I think it will be a good way for me to pursue that dream.”
