Memorial health System is proud to announce that during this year’s Month of Giving supporting Hunger Solutions, we successfully beat our goal of raising $50,000. Through fundraising efforts hosted throughout the month of June, employees helped raise $54,164.24 in total!

“I have been helping with the Month of Giving since 2017,” says Cindy Hall, Volunteer Services Coordinator. “I enjoy helping the health system raise money for the food pantries in our region by being part of this event. It’s a good feeling to give back to the community. It’s so much joy to see how creative our departments are when making their themed baskets for the raffle we host. It’s amazing to see how much our team cares and want to give to a great cause.”

On July 14 at 12:30 p.m. at the Larry J. Unroe Healing Garden (outside, next to The League Shop on the first floor in Marietta Memorial Hospital), we will be hosting a check presentation to the Hunger Solutions’ board of directors. We invite all media to come during this time for interviews.

The next big fundraiser for Hunger Solutions is their annual Bounty By The River event on August 27th at the Cancer Center on Belpre Medical Campus. Memorial Health System is proud help with these efforts and encourage others to join us by donating or attending this year’s Bounty by the River. You may purchase your tickets and learn more at hungersolutionsmov.com.
