What Is a Cardiologist?

As a cardiologist, Dr. Bagae specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the cardiovascular system. Cardiologists can work with patients who have a history of heart disease, strokes, heart attacks, and many other cardiovascular issues.

Education and Experience

Dr. Bagae completed his internal medicine residency, clinical heart failure pre-cardiology fellowship and cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine & Mount Sinai Services at Elmhurst Hospital Center in Elmhurst, New York. He graduated from Addis Ababa University School of Medicine in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Dr. Bagae is also a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
