What is a Neurologist?

As a neurologist, Dr. Howley specializes in disorders affecting the nervous system including the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and cerebrovascular system. Neuroscience care includes prevention, diagnosis, and rehabilitation. Dr. Howley is a board-certified general neurologist and a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.

Education and Experience

Daniel Howley, MD completed his residencies in neurology and internal medicine at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He also completed his internship at Duke University in internal medicine. Dr. Howley received his medical degree at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Howley is certified in Electromyogram (EMG) Test & Nerve Conduction Study (NCS) by American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine and by American Society of Neuroimaging in MRI and CT interpretation.
