What Is an Orthopedic Surgeon?
As an orthopedic (ortho) provider, Dr. Reed is trained in diagnosing and treating conditions that affect the musculoskeletal system. Specialty areas of orthopedics include the spine, joints, hands, feet, sports medicine, and trauma surgery. Ortho providers focus on restoring the function of injured patients and getting them back to being active with surgical and/or nonsurgical options.

Jason Reed, DO earned his Doctor of Osteopathy from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. He also completed his osteopathic internship and orthopedic surgery residency at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.
