Expect More From Your Primary Care

These days, you’ve been giving more. Now it’s our turn. When you get your primary care from Memorial Health System, you get:

Your primary care doctor is the leader of your health care team. We’re committed to providing the highest standard of care to help our patients live their best, healthiest lives. Our locations and services make it possible for you to receive the care you need, close to home.

Our primary care providers are part of the same health system as our specialists, so access to your medical records is seamless and easy for every health care provider you see. myMemorialChart offers personalized and secure online access to portions of your electronic medical record (EMR), where your provider maintains your health information. It enables you to securely manage and receive information over the internet, message your provider, get prescription refills, and more—wherever and whenever you need! Our providers value the importance of connected care and are dedicated to providing a full continuum of care to every patient. In fact, if you have an inpatient stay at one of our hospitals, you will most likely have a follow-up appointment with one of our primary care providers. This ensures that you are healing so you can get back to being yourself…but healthier!

Our Family Medicine Residency Clinic

Conveniently located on Belpre Medical Campus, our Family Medicine Residency clinic houses our current practicing residents and their teaching physicians. These residents are physicians who have graduated from medical school and are training to specialize in family medicine, also called primary care. They train for three years with an experienced, board-certified teaching physician, honing their skills to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Teaching physicians review and supervise all patient visits conducted by the residents. During the first six months of the residency, the teaching physician participates in the patient visit. Therefore, the resident physician’s care is covered by the same insurances as their supervising physician’s.
