Our Family Medicine Residency Clinic

Conveniently located on Belpre Medical Campus, our Family Medicine Residency clinic houses our current practicing residents and their teaching physicians. These residents are physicians who have graduated from medical school and are training to specialize in family medicine, also called primary care. They train for three years with an experienced, board-certified teaching physician, honing their skills to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Teaching physicians review and supervise all patient visits conducted by the residents. During the first six months of the residency, the teaching physician participates in the patient visit. Therefore, the resident physician’s care is covered by the same insurances as their supervising physician’s.
